FACES IN THE DARK

Hello there,
This is the face of a stranger who showed up
at the door the other night. Oh, he was pleasant
enough.....but spoke in a garbled tongue. The
origin of the langauge was unknown to me,but,
being the host that I am....I invited him in. Well,
what a delightful time was had by all. We gabbed and
laughed,smoke,drank and had just a great time.Of
course we knew nothing of what he was saying. All
of a sudden he bolted up......grabbed his coat and was out the door in a flash. We thought that his behavior was strange but settled back to watching Law and Order. Strange things happen all the time
around here. Like the time I got up to get a stamp and we were out.
The odds of that happening are just mind boggling. You know....
I often wonder......who he was and where he went. Maybe he stole our stamps!!!!!!!

INJECTIONS

Yesterday. I recieved two injections. One was a flu shot the other was a pneumonia shot. The pneumonia shot went into my left arm. I am left handed. About 4 hrs. later....my arm was hot and sore. In about 6 hrs. I could not move my arm in any direction without severe pain. Called the on-call person at my doctors office. I recieved two calls. The first one was from an Indian female doctor who told me to put ice on it and take some motrin. Like we have motrin sitting around the house. The other call was a nurse practioner that told me to put a warm compress on it and take some of my tylenol 3s. The heat helped alot. I have worked in health care a long time.......I should have already known that you would'nt put ice on it. Oh well, it's alot better today. Still sore though.

TODAY

Hello. Today was sort of warm. In the mid 60's.
Think I will change the template in a few minutes.
My sister,brother-in-law and mother are coming over on Sunday.
Guess, I don't have anything to say today. Will write
on Sun.

NEW DIRECTIONS

I love eyptian art. I think this will be my next tattoo(on my back).
I got to thinking that I did'nt really have a belief system in anything. So, started to surf the web for various alternative religions. The dogma of most religions turn me off.....what with original sin....an angry god that throws hurricanes and such at people and kills them and wreaks havoc.......and general guilt for most everything....so, luckily I came across Spiritual Humanism and Pantheism. These two seem to fit me perfectly. To be here on earth.....to be interconnected with all living beings(including the planet).....that all things share a natural energy that is shared with all just makes sense. Like THEY say....this life is not a dress rehearsal for the next life. Although, I do believe in a dispersal of energy upon our death...that is returned to the general energy pot.....to be distributed in a way that NO ONE knows about. As for the Humanisitic side of it............we must deal with our and the planets problems here and now......praying to some oldman in the clouds is just a waste of time. We must take responsibility for our own actions and how those actions effect our own sorroundings and even the energy fields of this planet. Really, prayer is just positive thinking......and thats what gets things done. Results are not doled out depending on where you go to church or how holy you try to appear to others. Actions do speak louder than words. And, for all you scripture quoters.........take the time you spend on memorizing(and misconstruing) biblical verse and do something to help someone else. Your time will be much better spent.
Thats my sermon for today...........Have a great day today!!!

THE RETURN OF BUCKY BOZO

Hello all. Yes, this is Bucky Bozo. It seems that while writing a piece for this blog......I had fallen asleep and in a dream state.........started a new blog(diaries of Bucky Bozo) but, now I realize that it was all a dream. All the posts that you read were dreams that I was having. Wierd!!!! Anyway.....It is true that I am a male nun of the Emperor Hadrian. It is so good to be back in reality with all the gang. After being asleep for so long.....the place is a bit dusty and dissheveled.....so after dusting and tidying up.........will be off on more adventures. So, with the good blessings of Hadrian.........I bid you adieux for now. Stay tuned.

ORDINATION NEWS

Hello. In todays mail, I recieved my ordination papers
from the Universal Life Church. I am also ordained in the Church of Spiritual Humanism. So, from now on, I shall be known as Rev. Hadrian. Although I would like to wear an outfit like the one pictured............I will have to go with the modern notched collar shirt(in Espiscopalian blue). I do have a beard however.
So, lets pray.............may ye all be happy, healthy and wise! Amen.
Services will be conducted here at the "parsonage" sometime in the future. A board of directors and all of that must first be instituted of course. And , in Michigan, I must register myself as a minister. Probably only a few bucks........so, no big deal. Some of the services may be done in the nude. Genital shaving, transgender clothing wearing are just some of the festive nights that are planned. Som nights will be just watching re-runs of Law and Order and then discussing how any of it relates to our daily lives and the peace that we seek as human beings. Peoples of any faith are welcome of course. Keep tuneed for any info about new programs and meetings.
Peacefully yours,
Rev. Hadrian
