Hi there all you readers. Well, I was denied any Unemployment benefits. I was also denied any SSI benefits. So, I asked for a redetermination on Unemployment and called Sam about appealing my SSI decision.
Today I started my training @ the American Cancer Society fund raising job. It is only 16 hrs. and at $10 per hour. So, thats not much money but at least it's something. It's very hard to find a job in Michgan now days. I also have a prospect @ Jackson Natl. Life Ins. Co. I sure hope to hell that comes through. Better pay,great benefits and ful time.
By doing this job @ACS it will probably screw up my appeals @ the other places but I need money now. It could take 2 yrs. for a redetermination on SSI. I am not able to get food stamps because I refuse to include my partners income. They won't let us get married but they insist that I have to include his income because we live together. What non sense!!!!!
Starting over @ 54 with no marketable computer skills really sucks. I wish I had started takin training on puter long time ago. How are you to learn Access and Excell is you never use it. And why pay 80-150 dollars for a software program just to learn stuff? There must be a free site that you can learn that stuff on.
